Deeply shaded, wine-purple buds burst open to reveal intense rose-purple flowers with very tiny red spots around apple-green nectaries. An early-blooming lily, photo shows a production row stem with a single flower in the first year from scaling. It takes two additional years of growth to produce the larger bulbs we send for your garden. Star-shaped flowers with spicy-sweet fragrance, one of the blooms produce a lavender overcast in our garden as the flowers mature and have a white nectary with prominent raised papillae in bloom center. 2 to 3 Feet. Late June/Early July.
