Classification: Easter Lily x Trumpet Hybrid Lily Bulb (USDA Zones 5-10, colder climates w/winter mulch)Stock # 5060 - 'Longidragon' - Trumpet Lily Bulb
A delightful breeding masterpiece, 'Longidragon' blends the familiar "Easter Lily" (L. longiflorum)
with the famous 'Black Dragon Clone'. These perfectly proportions trumpets have "diamond-dusted" sparkle on the white portion of the petals, greenish-yellow throats, and mahogany-brown stripes on the petal reverses.
These sturdy plants, whose heavily-textured flowers last a long time in the garden, and are wonderfully satisfying in floral arrangements. Enjoy these lilies in containers on a deck or patio. Expect 3 to 5 flowers per stem the first year, then many more when bulbs have re-established. Fragrant. 2 1/2 to 3 Feet. July. Also sold under the name of 'Dragoon' but this clone is registered with the RHS as 'Longidragon' making it the official name.
Please Note: Lilies are at their best when planted in a well drain garden location. Most of the shorter varieties will do well in pots, but you must insure that the potting mix is never allowed to become soggy or that your pots be allowed to freeze in the winter without protection.Bulb Size
