This photo was clearly dated 1953 so it may be it was not registered until some time after selection owing to the fact this was recorded on large format film. Wild Lily bulbs making up the genus Lilium belong to the family Liliaceae comprising of approximately 200 genera made up of approximately 2,000 lily species.
