Breeding between the highly fragrant, L. longiflorum and various Asiatic lilies has been on-going for the last 12-15 years and has produced many larger-flowered hybrids that exhibit varying degrees of perfume similar to the familiar Easter Lily, but within the color realm and bloom shape of Asiatic Hybrids. Scent is most evident on these beauties on warm, still days and after the flowers have fully opened, but they are not as strong as either Trumpet or Oriental Hybrids.
