These subtle, one-inch blooms are like a foaming sea of tiny purple and white orchids perched atop wiry black stems in late summer through fall. With attractive, brown-speckled leaves, they thrive in light to medium shade and enjoy the cooler weather of Autumn. Perfect at the base of deciduous trees, woodlandland walks, or in northern exposures, Toad Lilies are wonderfully non-invasive and have reliable bloom year after year. We send mature bareroot divisions in 10-packs, so you will have an "instant" colony in the very first summer. 2 to 3 Feet. Late August to October bloom. Zones 4-9
