 | Garden Expo - Spokane, Washington, May 12, 2012 Saturday only, May 12th from 9AM-5PM at the Spokane Community College Lair building and grounds located at 1810 N Green St. in Spokane, Washington.
This one day show is one of our favorites, fast and busy the first three hours and steady the rest of the day until all of our lily bulbs and plants are gone. Come early and visit us just as soon as you arrive, our three tents are usually packed solid with people from about 10:30 to 12:30 and the line to checkout can be a bit long at times, but everyone is friendly and patient. We’ll even hold your purchase for pickup later in the day on a secure rack, the only requirement is that you bring your ID and provide a cell phone number for contact.
B&D Lilies exhibits OUTDOORS under three open tents, near the entrance to the building. We've turned down options to go indoors for many years, as we prefer to be outside (rain or shine) with the other plant people in natural light, keeping our plants and bulbs in pristine condition by not allowing them to become overheated inside the building. “3 Mistakes to Avoid” when buying lily bulbs at spring plant sales. What others might sell you, we compost or feed to the pigs, so read this article and don’t be fooled.
Look for our Snow Creek and B&D Lilies' banners as you enter the circular driveway from the main parking lot. In addition to our famous lily bulbs, grown by us in the Pacific Northwest, we have other unique and wonderful potted plants for your enjoyment. Don't miss out on this unique opportunity; gardeners from three states come to this fun and adventuresome event each year. Hope to see you there, but if you can't make it this year, we still have bulbs online for a short time longer!

 | | | "Blast 'O Color" Closeout Gladiolus - 60% off
Mix of labeled packaged bulbs and loose bulbs, some are not cosmetically pretty ("scratch & dent sale"), but the catalog price is figured on 150 bulbs and the boxes are filled with between 175 and 200 bulbs total, so it's better than a 60% off deal. Great for a blast of color this summer. Click on photo to learn more and to order.

Warning: Be wary of merchants offering bulbs with excessive sprouts - even at discounted prices - in an attempt to dispose of surplus material that was not kept under proper refrigeration. What others might want to sell you, we add to the compost or feed to the pigs, so read this article and don’t be fooled.

Click here for our link to Dianna's new website. Flower & Garden Show patrons have requested an easy way to order Fancy, Resort and Sunscreen Garden Hats (and other accessories) outside of the West Coast Flower & Garden Show circuit, so the new "Abbee" website was born to satisfy that need. Take a look today.
