Flower Description: We have been sitting on this lily in our trials hoping we would finally get enough sun and heat to see how it held up in our maritime climate. Finally, we got into the mid to high 80's this August and it performed without a hitch. We still recommend that double-flowered Orientals, especially in areas of high summer temperatures for extended periods of time, be planted in afternoon shade.
Photographed by our daughter (she has been putting some of her fine-arts photography degree to use for “Mom and Dad”), Anne Marie caught to a “T” the absolute beauty of 'Broken Heart'. Reaching a height of 3 to 4 feet, this is a late July/early August bloomer.
Bulb Size - Our standard for bulbs of this Oriental Hybrid Lily Bulb cultivar ranges from Premium-size» (16/18 cm) to Exhibition-size» (over 18 cm). Click here for details.
