'Kiss of Fire' - Orienpet Lily Bulb

Kiss of Fire' - Oriepet Lily Bulb
Flower Description: Wow—the blooms are bright red upon opening, but a day or two later they turn a most pleasing black-red. This color change means that you can have both colors on the same stem because they can open over a two to three week period. Older pink clones of Oriental lilies used to exhibit a violet cast as the petals were almost finished, when the topmost layer of color cells “bleached” and the flowers became almost transparent, but these show no such decline in substance from day to day, which makes a long-lasting show in the garden. 3 to 4 Feet. Late July / Early August Flowering. Fragrant.
