Spring 2009 Daylily "Close Out" Specials

Daylily plants are custom dug for you and are mailed through July. Several varieties are now projected to be "sold out", so don't wait too long to transmit your order to us.

After over 3 decades of digging clumps that often run over 40 pounds each, we have reached a point in our lives where our backs are letting us know it is time to shift gears. Closing down our Daylily (Hemerocallis) production will allow us more time to concentrate on dozens of new bulb lily (Lilium) selections from the cutting edge breeders, plus step up propagation of rare and exotic tropicals from Dianna’s private collection.

The last section of field is ready for digging. Prices are set at our regular retail cost for a single 3 to 4 fan plant. However, to help us finish cleaning the field prior to crop rotation, you actually receive a bundle of 9 to 12 fans for each plant ordered. (Essentially, buy one, get two free.) You can plant all of the fans next to each other for one impressive clump or space them out individually in the garden.

These special closeout prices are all for BUNDLES of 9 to 12 fans total for each bundle of plants ordered. Shipping will not be shown on your order acknowledgment, but will be added when we charge your card at $10.35 (USPS Flat Rate Box) for the first bundle in your daylily order, plus $3.00 per additional bundle ordered. Split orders going to more than one address will be charged accordingly for each additional delivery address.

Our daylily harvest begins in Mid June, continues throughout the month of July for summer planting. Then perhaps again in early September (if any are still available), when the soil has begun to cool and just before we start our lily bulb harvest, plants are hand dug for fall delivery. Please choose a delivery time frame or we will dig, wash, dry and send your plants in our next shipment.
