 $44.95 BK-02 'Consider the Lilies' Second Edition. Dated and Signed by author. Dated Aug 21st. 1931 and inscribed "from the author William Emerson Marshall" Inside front cover also has the name "Taft" that appears to be written with the same pen and in the same hand. Illustrated in both color and black and white. Book also has the 1930 4-page color supplement from the original 1927 issue. There are two well yellowed newspaper clippings left by a previous owner. 1st. is headed "How to Plant Lilies" the 2nd is headed 'Portulaca for a dry sunny spot'. Purple cover with "gilded" lily in lower right corner. Overall a very nice copy. $44.95 plus postage.
